In loving memory of Juergen Hans Bruno Aldag, "The Celebrity Artist", who passed away on Jan. 19, 2006 in Las Vegas. He was born on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1955 in Hamburg, Germany. He has lived in Las Vegas and Hawaii for almost 15 years, painting artwork of his superstar friends, including his fellow countrymen, Siegfried & Roy's celebrity animals. Juergen is world renown for his unique signature fine art, that no other artist can duplicate, as well as for the celebrities that collect them. He had a heart of gold and a smile that spoke volumes. He was one-of-a-kind and as colorful as his paintings. He loved the Beatles and the Scorpions music, chess and soccer. He will be missed and forever remembered by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Wendy Arvella; father, Bruno; sister, Angelica; cat/son, Ivory; and hundreds of paintings for all the world to share.

Not a day goes by that I don't think of Juergen and miss him terribly. It's impossible to forget him. He made so many people happy, just to know him. Yet, he didn't know just how much (and many) people loved him. I wish he were alive today to read all these things that people think of him. He would of been so happy to know he had so many friends.

I have never met anyone like Juergen before in my life. He was very beautiful in many ways. He was very sensitive and emotional, because he was passionate about his art. He lived to paint, and painted to live. Enjoy what he left for us all in his paintings, this was his gift.
I loved Juergen and will miss him very much, he was like a son to me, Sharon

The portrait of life is colored with bright yellows and radiant reds, alongside hues of blue and gray, mixing dark with light. This portrait is full of hidden images, imprinted with joy, etched out of pain. The stokes of colors are sometimes pure and bold, while others are blended with mystery and faint, sketched in secret, for the whole world to see. The portrait of life has an image of Juergen, numbered with the rest of us, but textured with intricate threads of brilliancy, standing out and drawing attention.
Such is my point of view.
