In loving memory of Juergen Hans Bruno Aldag, "The Celebrity Artist", who passed away on Jan. 19, 2006 in Las Vegas. He was born on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1955 in Hamburg, Germany. He has lived in Las Vegas and Hawaii for almost 15 years, painting artwork of his superstar friends, including his fellow countrymen, Siegfried & Roy's celebrity animals. Juergen is world renown for his unique signature fine art, that no other artist can duplicate, as well as for the celebrities that collect them. He had a heart of gold and a smile that spoke volumes. He was one-of-a-kind and as colorful as his paintings. He loved the Beatles and the Scorpions music, chess and soccer. He will be missed and forever remembered by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Wendy Arvella; father, Bruno; sister, Angelica; cat/son, Ivory; and hundreds of paintings for all the world to share.

Dear friends of Juergen and Wendy Aldag-
Thank you all so much for your Aloha and love during this trying time in my life. Your posts for Juergen have been a great comfort to me and I will cherish each and every one of them, as they are etched in my heart forever. You took the time to express your love for Juergen and me, which is a true witness of the love you have in your hearts for us, and that is priceless. The numerous written tributes that have been posted on both websites have kept Juergen alive in all of our hearts and eased the pain of his passing for me, and all of you too.
We will soon have more information about Juergen's life on this website, as the aldagonline website is no longer available for you to visit because we will not be conducting anymore online sales, which was the original purpose that Juergen requested the aldagonline website, while he was still with us.
This is just a minor setback that will not effect the impact that Juergen's life, passing, and art have had (and will continue to have) on all of his true friends and fans.
Keep Juergen alive in your hearts and check back for more information about him in the near future, on this, his official, website.
With Love, Wendy

Aloha, Aloha, and more Aloha!!
Juergen loved the word "Aloha" and all that the word means, which is all about love and good cheer.
When his parents came to Hawaii in 1996, they too loved the word "Aloha" and for the past 9 years, everytime they talked on the phone, from America to Germany (and vice versa), "Aloha" was the first thing out of their mouths.

On Easter morning, April 16, 2006, after attending a sunrise Easter church service, Juergen's wife Wendy tearfully scattered his ashes in Turtle Bay, North Shore, Oahu, Hawaii where they lived together for seven years.
It was a beautiful Hawaiian morning and the Pacific Ocean at Turtle Bay was full of waves, rolling in and out, creating a calming, natural "song of life" as Wendy released Juergen's ashes with flowers.... slowly..... to the sea that Juergen loved and knew so well.
Just moments after Juergen's ashes were released, a large sea turtle appeared in the ocean at the shoreline where his ashes were scattered, and shortly thereafter, a double rainbow appeared in the sky on the North Shore of Hawaii........Juergen is in God's hands and we will meet again, one glorious day. What a happy day that will be!!!

On Sunday, April 8, 2006 there was a candlelight vigil and memorial / tribute for Juergen Aldag on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. Many of his friends and fans came to celebrate his life and pay tribute to Juergen, with much Aloha to Juergen and his wife Wendy. It was a beautiful night under the stars in the Pacific Ocean, while pastor Ron Valenciana blessed the tribute with prayer and scripture, and Connie Hovland (Juergen's sister-in-law) sang a memorial hymn for Juergen.
There, while his friends were holding candles and red balloons just for him, Juergen's spirit was remembered and lifted up, in his favorite place in the world, with his Ohana (family) friends, on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii.
The red balloons were released against the starry dark blue night sky and everyone watched as they rose and drifted into the heavens. It was an amazing and wonderful moment in time. Through the tears and sorrow, Wendy managed to share her joy of having loved and lived with her soul mate, Juergen, as they ran together for 12 years, like candles in the wind, (as her candle was blown out by the warm Hawaiian winds).
It was a bittersweet tribute to Juergen, and the Hawaiian breeze was full of Aloha (love) and appreciation for a great man and artist. Bitter, because Juergen was not present in body and sincerely missed. Sweet, because Juergen was present in spirit and sincerely felt.
