In loving memory of Juergen Hans Bruno Aldag, "The Celebrity Artist", who passed away on Jan. 19, 2006 in Las Vegas. He was born on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1955 in Hamburg, Germany. He has lived in Las Vegas and Hawaii for almost 15 years, painting artwork of his superstar friends, including his fellow countrymen, Siegfried & Roy's celebrity animals. Juergen is world renown for his unique signature fine art, that no other artist can duplicate, as well as for the celebrities that collect them. He had a heart of gold and a smile that spoke volumes. He was one-of-a-kind and as colorful as his paintings. He loved the Beatles and the Scorpions music, chess and soccer. He will be missed and forever remembered by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Wendy Arvella; father, Bruno; sister, Angelica; cat/son, Ivory; and hundreds of paintings for all the world to share.

Free as a bird! Juergen always wanted to be "free as a bird" and now he is. Juergen always was a free spirit and not normal by most standards. His art work reflects his abstract point of view of life. He was colorful in his way of thinking, and that is translated on his canvas. I love you Juergen, fly high like an angel, and be at peace.

Siegfried & Roy will be attending to give tribute to their friend, Juergen.
Juergen Aldag had a signature style of his own which no other artist could dublicate. The Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas art exhibition pays tribute to him as one of the greatest abstract artist of all time. Everyone is invited to attend and toast, with the famous Hofbrau beer, to our good friend Juergen Aldag, who will be missed here in Las Vegas and around the world.

Before Juergen passed away he told me that he regrets that he could not repay all his debts to the people that he felt he owed, for their support. This was on his mind during the last days of his life. I told him that they will forgive him and that he should not worry about these things now. I'm telling you this because Juergen was a man of integrity and honor, you should know. He had many ups and downs financially during his life as a struggling artist. But, he appreciated all the help and support that he received and really had rightfully expected to gain a fortune from his artwork, and repay all debts at that time. So, if anyone out there feels that Juergen honestly owes them something, please contact us and we will forward the message on to his wife and she will contact you.

This is a world full of mysteries. Why Juergen was taken from us at this time, is one of those mysteries that we just cannot comprehend, nor readily accept. So gifted and unique, Juergen was full of life, hope and dreams... until the very end. He reached for the stars all his life, and now, he is one.
